Ahhhh Fall. It’s such a great time of year! It a season of cooler weather, sweaters, scarves, pretty colors all around and one of my favorites – pumpkin flavored everything! Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin beers, pumpkin bread, you name it.

This may come as a bit of a shock but I am a HUGE fan of Pumpkin cupcakes! Pamcakes Cupcakery, one of my favorite cupcake shops in Philly, makes a delicious Pumpkin Chip Cupcake that is to die for! I could eat one of these everyday! It was pretty hard for me to wait a few minutes to photograph them before devouring this scrumptious cupcake! This is a cupcake you don’t want to miss!

Something Sweet | Pamcakes Cupcakery | Philadelphia Food Photographer

My “Something Sweet” series continues this week with Pamcakes! I had the pleasure of meeting Pam last week at her adorable little cupcake shop on 20th and Pine in Center City, Philadelphia. Pam is also the woman who has graciously donated the cupcakes for next Saturday’s Playdate Picnic and Photo Shoot with Main Line Parent., so I was super excited to go sneak a peak at what we’ll be enjoying.

The cupcakes from this unique cupcakery are baked from scratch every day, making for some of the freshest and most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever had. I love them, and I can’t wait to photograph the kid’s faces as they devour the cupcakes at the playdate!

Philly Beer Week is in full force right now in Philadelphia! Almost every bar is celebrating this annual week of drinking and celebrating beer – a lot of it.

A few weeks ago I photographed one of Philly’s finest Ben Franklin impersonators at Misconduct Tavern for a Beer Week promo. Mr. Franklin is a regular at Misconduct so it only made sense for him to help Misconduct promote Beer Week.
