A friend of mine got married earlier this year and wanted to surprise her then-future-hubby with something super special. She contacted me, and after a quick chat, we’d scheduled her a boudoir shoot!
I know a lot of brides-to-be are nervous about doing things like this, but it’s not nearly as scary as one might think!
When we met she already had a few outfits picked out that she felt most comfortable (and gorgeous) in. I helped set the room a bit and suggested some accessories she might interact with, like pretty pillows and blankets. The whole atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and very natural; and I got some great shots! I just love boudoir photography – shooting in a very light, subtle way that focuses on the natural beauty of the person on the other side of lens.
Getting married soon? Why not surprise your spouse-to-be with a boudoir shoot! Present them with a framed shot for their nightstand or something larger – this bride created a book for her husband as a newlywed gift. Love it!
